Give Little Clothes A New Life
selling
Kids grow fast, but their clothes still have plenty of life left in them. At The Bloom Market, you can pass along the pieces your little ones have outgrown, earn cash or store credit toward their next size, and help another local family find something they love.
what we accept
We're looking for gently loved children's clothing that's ready for its next little owner. Our goal is to offer families a thoughtfully curated selection of quality pieces at accessible prices.
We accept:
Infant, toddler, and children's clothing sizes: premie- 14/16
Shoes: NB-6Y
Clothes in the current season
Hats, hair bows, and some other accessories
We look for items that are:
Clean and freshly laundered
In excellent or gently worn condition
Free of stains, holes, and excessive wear
Free of strong odors
Complete, functional, and ready to wear
Please leave these at home:
Items with stains, holes, or other damage
Clothing with missing buttons, broken zippers, or other defects
Heavily worn, faded, or stretched-out pieces
Items that need washing or repairs
We reserve the right to decline items that don't meet our quality standards or fit our current inventory needs. If we deem that an item does not fit, you can choose to donate the item or pick it back up.
how to prepare your items
A little preparation goes a long way! Before bringing in your items, please:
1. Wash everything. Make sure all clothing is freshly laundered and free of odors.
2. Give each piece a once-over. Check pockets, buttons, zippers, seams, and hems for damage.
3. Sort by size. Grouping similar sizes together helps make drop-off easier.
4. Pack neatly. Place your items in bins or containers (we will return them back to you) or bags. Please leave hangers at home unless otherwise requested.
We want the process to be easy for you and manageable for our small team!
how selling works
Step 1. Bring us your items
Bring your prepared items to The Bloom Market during regular store hours (Mon-Sat 10-7).
Step 2. We'll review your items
Our team will look through your items and select pieces based on condition, style, size, demand, and available space. Because we're building a curated collection for local families, we may not be able to accept everything in a drop-off.
As we refine our process, we ask that you allow us 24 hours to review your items.
Step 3. Earn cash or credit
Once we review your items, you'll earn credit based off the chosen pieces to use toward future purchases at The Bloom Market.
Step 5. Decide what happens to rejected items
Not every piece will find its next home right away. If you have items we can't take, you can choose to pick them back up or donate them to the Blount County Foster Parent Association.
We'll make these terms clear before accepting your items so you know what to expect.
